the delay in updating any further since Worlds. I have been busily organizing wedding. . .
I am now Nikki Butterfield! We are off to Tahiti for a short honeymoon, and
then back to Australia
on the 21st for our reception on the 22nd.
Training
starts properly again once I am back in Australia. Nikki.
28th September Nikki was in the breakaway at the World Championships for over 120km before attacking from the lead group of 12 solo on the bell lap. There was not much left in the legs after being out front for so long when the lead six (who had attacked from the peleton) passed her on the last lap. Nikki had to settle for 15th place after a long day in the saddle. More news coming in a few days. . . . . holiday time for now!
